PATTI SHOOK-BOICE

Arguably the finest woman golfer Saginaw County has ever produced.  The Valparaiso graduate won the national collegiate championship and also was a seven-time women’s state champ.  The daughter of former Saginaw County Club pro Loren Shook won 11 Spring Lake championships in her career.  Boice played in the Saginaw District Golf Association tournament in 1965 when she was the state amateur champion.  She is in the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame (1985) and the Michigan Amateur Hall of Fame (1982).
